You can search for items using the search box at the top of any page. Simply enter the keywords you’re looking for and click "Search."

Improve your searches by using more words. As a general rule, the more words you use, the more accurate your search results will be. By using more words, you will get a smaller set of search results that will be more relevant to you.

Make sure your search terms are sufficiently specific. Start with two or three keywords. Try different search words. Many items can be described using different words.

Try imagining which words a seller might use to describe the item you're seeking. Use several different combinations and options, using two or three words at a time. This way you'll get a variety of results.

Don't use extra punctuation. Only use punctuation in your search if you expect it to be in the item title or description you're searching.

Instead of using general words, try specific ones. As an example, you're seaching for a pair of hiking boots. Insead of putting in boots, try hiking boots.

To narrow your search even more, put in a color, brand or size. For example, Timberland Hiking Boots, size 8. This will return fewer results but they will be closer to what you're searching for. You can use an asterisk for a wildcard search to help narrow the search. As an example to find a particular GI Joe made in the 70's type GI Joe 197* in the search box. The asterick will search for any GI Joe in 1970-79 If you are only looking for a GI Joe and not one made in a specific year, then just type GI Joe in the search box.

Search using both singular and plural versions of the word. The results may be different. As an example, you would get two different results if you searched for bear and bears.

Search terms are not case sensitive. It you type Gucci HandBag, you will get the same result if you type gucci handbag.
